What should I do if there's an issue with an asset I've purchased?

If you encounter any problems with an asset you've bought, your first step should be to reach out to the asset creator. You can do this by leaving a comment on their asset page to discuss and resolve the issue.


Is it possible to get a refund on an asset?

After attempting to resolve the issue directly with the creator and contacting Asset Miza support, we will assist in mediating any disputes and may issue a refund if necessary.


I bought an asset but it's not appearing in my account. What should I do?

If you've purchased an asset but it hasn't appeared in your account, please email support@ assetsmiza.store with the details of your order, and we'll investigate the matter for you.


Is it possible to purchase exclusive rights to an asset?

Currently, there is no option to acquire exclusive rights to an asset, but we may explore this possibility in the future.


What should I do if an asset I've purchased has been updated?

If a seller updates an asset you've purchased, you can download the updated version at no extra cost.


Do I need to credit the asset creator when using their asset in a game?

There's no obligation to credit the creator of any asset used in your game. However, you're more than welcome to provide credit if you choose to do so.

What types of assets can I upload?

Currently, you can upload a wide range of assets, including 2D and 3D visual assets, GUI assets, and audio assets. Additionally, we are exploring the possibility of adding scripts and other game code in the future.


How long does it take to review assets?

We strive to review all submitted assets within 72 hours (excluding weekends). However, during periods of significant website development or high submission volumes, the review process may take slightly longer.


What happens once I've submitted an asset?

Upon submission, your asset undergoes review by the Asset Miza  team. There are three potential outcomes:

Asset accepted - If your asset meets quality standards and has no issues, it will be accepted and immediately available for browsing and purchase.

Minor changes - If your asset requires minor adjustments or additional information, we'll provide feedback to facilitate necessary changes before resubmission.

Asset rejected - If your asset fails to meet quality standards or is deemed inappropriate, it will unfortunately be rejected and cannot be listed on the marketplace.


What if my asset is rejected?

In the event of rejection, you'll receive a notification detailing the reasons. If the rejection is due to minor issues, you can make the necessary amendments and resubmit. However, assets rejected for quality or appropriateness reasons cannot be resubmitted.


Can I change the category of my uploaded asset?

Currently, if you need to change the category of an uploaded asset, please email support(at)gamedevmarket.net with the requested changes.


Can I list my asset on other stores?

Yes, you have the freedom to list your asset on any other marketplace. However, it's advisable to review the terms and conditions of other platforms regarding asset exclusivity.


Do I need to watermark my assets?

Yes, all submitted assets must be watermarked using the Asset Miza  watermark. This measure helps prevent unauthorized use and protects both creators and Asset Miza .


Can I use my own watermark?

No, the watermark provided by Asset Miza  must be used.


How do I watermark my audio assets?

When uploading an audio asset, you'll find a downloadable Audio Watermark in Step 2. Overlay this watermark onto your sample track to ensure it cannot be used without a license.


What should be the length of my audio sample file?

While there's no set length, ensure your audio sample provides potential buyers with a good representation of the asset. A duration of 10-20 seconds is recommended.


What game engines can I list assets for?

There are no restrictions on which game engines you can upload assets for, as long as it's clear if an asset is engine-specific.


How should I determine the price for my asset?

Pricing is entirely at your discretion. We recommend ensuring the price reflects the asset's value, and you can adjust prices as needed.


What does the maximum promotional price mean?

The maximum promotional price refers to the highest discount you're willing to offer on your asset during promotional events conducted by Asset Miza .


How do you promote assets?

While sellers provide maximum promotional prices, we only run a few sales per year. However, we regularly send out emails featuring a selection of the best new assets from the store.


How can I get my assets included in the weekly emails?

Weekly emails typically feature recent marketplace additions and themed selections. Quality and presentation, including cover photos, play a significant role in asset selection.


Can I offer discounts on my assets?

Currently, individual sellers cannot run discounts or promotions. The maximum promotional price serves for official marketplace sales.
